At HASEGAWA corporation, I’ve had the opportunity to be involved in every stage of the process—from cutting raw sliver before spinning, to skein winding, twisting, and all the way through to the final product.
When I first joined the company, it was my very first experience with manufacturing. I didn’t know the first thing about it—but even then, I could clearly see the remarkable craftsmanship of my senior colleagues.
What struck me most was how even when making the same product, the slightest difference in raw materials, processing methods, or machine settings could lead to completely different results.
That’s the true challenge—and joy—of manufacturing.
Things don’t always go as planned. But being able to work through those challenges, experiment with different approaches, and ultimately create something of value—that’s where I find real fulfillment.
