Hasegawa corporation, a natural fiber maker that mainly handles silk, has developed “warm silk goods” featuring Doala, the mascot of the professional baseball Chunichi Dragons.

Three products, “fluffy silk belly band”, “KOHARU silk room pants”, and “good night socks”. The company’s original silk yarn “KOHARU”, which is also shipped to European luxury brands, was used. The yarn is made only from the outermost rare part of the cocoon, and the surface is raised to bring out the original softness and smoothness of silk.

The three products are non-sewn and do not tingle when touched by the skin. It is mainly intended for women, but it can also be worn by men because it is a one-size-fits-all item. The Doara emblem was casually attached to make it easier to use. Aya Tanahashi, who was involved in product development, said, “I hope you can get warm with Doala.”
