Our “tu na gi project” received the 2021 Good Design Award (sponsored by Japan Institute of Design Promotion).
\nThis project was highly evaluated as a result of working on a design that harmonizes with the living scene
\nwhile pursuing a mechanism that can contribute to environmental protection.
\nTaking this award as an opportunity, we will work to expand sales of the “tu na gi project”
\nand actively promote the use of design in manufacturing to improve the brand image. <\/p>\n

<Product overview>
\nZero material loss with the concept of “do not waste anything”.
\nWe launched the “tu na gi project” toward this big goal. “Tuna gi yarn”,
\nwhich is regenerated by connecting the remaining yarns one by one,
\nis one of the methods to reduce the environmental burden. <\/p>\n

\nThank you for this wonderful award.
\nWe are very pleased that our idea of “not wasting anything”
\nled to our products and was highly evaluated. We would like to continue to deliver wonderful silk unique to Hasegawa corporation to everyone in the world. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the many people who have contributed to the project. <\/p>\n

<Evaluation comments by the Good Design Award Jury>
\nCreativity and originality lies in the fact that the focus of the company,
\nwhich manufactures silk products on a large scale, has been realized as a product
\nwhen reducing the amount of waste that leads to environmental protection.
\nWe have developed a technology to tie the remaining yarn smoothly,
\nand the fabric with a natural shape has been regenerated. In addition,
\nthe combination of colors also gives a sense of design in a coincidence,
\nand such consideration can be evaluated.
\nThe line of simple clothes also has a certain sense of luxury,
\nand there are things that appeal to user satisfaction, which is different from simple recycled products. <\/p>\n
